This site was built using "Publicador" a 100% pure HTML Site Builder.
What this means, is you dowload the software. Then import or manually add your products, departments, and sub-departments, and click "Publish". Publicador 2002 then creates a pure HTML website based on a template or templates and automatically publishes each page to your website.
The benefits of this, are extremely fast loading, cross platform and browser capability websites which can be viewed by all of the people on the internet today! Some site builders use ASP wich can overload your server, and reject search engines when they try to crawl your site. Not Publicador!

Why to use Publicador ?
Web sites often rely heavily on an installed set of ASP, PHP or Perl scripts, which have long been a favorite for processing input from forms. Such scripts are also widely employed to generate HTML pages on the fly. Unfortunately, methods used to invoke these scripts can dramatically impact server performance.
Typically, invoking scripts involves using either common gateway interface (CGI), server side includes (SSI) or active server pages (ASP). Because they are general-purpose approaches, they work by sending a call to the operating system with the name of the program or executing some extra binary code. Usually script are interpreted presenting a biggest bottleneck in the whole web server.
The problem with this approach is that it requires a lot of system overhead because the executable must be loaded for each invocation. When the executable is a Perl script, Perl must also be loaded so that it can interpret and execute the script. The interpreted nature of ASP imposes an extra CPU demand.
Also, on-the-fly pages created from database increases the load on the database and web servers.
Publicador improves web site performance and scalability using HTML plain files instead dynamic content, which reduces the number of server resources necessary to build pages and eliminates the need for page re-executions.
